Super Bonus Occupancy

Through Circular n. 89 the INPS provides clarifications related to the Super Bonus Occupancy introduced by the Ministry of Labour trought the Decree of 3 February 2016 n. 16.The Super Bonus Occupancy is up to all private companies from all regions (except South Tyrol) for the recruitment of young people:

  • who are taking an extracurricular internship program funded under the Youth Guarantee;
  • who are in possession of the NEET requirement, that are not included in a course of study and are not occupied.

Thanks to this measure, companies get a bonus if activated:

  • a staff leasing for 6-12 months
  • a fixed-term contract also for the purpose of staff leasing more than 12 months
  • a permanent contract (also for the purpose of staff leasing)

One important change is that the Super Bonus Occupation is also recognized for relationship established by another employe, regardless of whether the training is in progress or has already ended.

The Super Bonus Occupation instead is excluded in the following cases:

  • apprenticeship contract for the qualification and professional degree, the upper secondary education and higher technical specialization certificate;
  • advanced training and research apprenticeship contract;
  • in domestic work, intermittent and accessory work.

Moreover INPS specified that the Super Bonus Occupation is payable only once for the same person and which is excluded by the assumptions concerning the same young for whose recruitment has already taken advantage of the ordinary bonus.

The total resources allocated to the financing of the Super Bonus Occupation amounted to EUR 50,000,000.

For the measurement of recognizable bonus, regard must be had to profiling class that is given following the sign up the Youth Guarantee program, recognizing an amount of 3000 and for the lower class to rise gradually up to a maximum payment of EUR 12000 .

The incentive is accessible in 12 units of the same amount and the figure is proportional to the duration of the same; in the case of part-time the bonus is re-proportioned.

The incentive should also be provided with adjustment on contributory complaints (UNIEMENS) from May.
